Booking Terms and Conditions

Your wedding venue hire at Stouthall includes;

• An in house wedding coordinator leading up to and on the day of your wedding.
  
• Exclusive hire of the house and grounds.
  
• One-night complimentary accommodation for the wedding couple with a full breakfast.
  

Terms & Conditions

• Carreg Adventure cannot guarantee dates chosen for your wedding are held until an agreed non-refundable deposit, typically 10% of the venue hire, and a written agreement of our terms and conditions are received.
  
• A 40% non-refundable deposit of the venue hire is required 12 weeks prior to your wedding day. Should this payment not be received by the required date, we reserve the right to cancel the booking without notice
  
• Full payment is to be made with confirmation of final numbers no later than 10 days prior to the wedding. Should this payment not be received by the required date, we will be obliged to cancel the booking without notice.
  
• We are unable to make any refunds after 7 days before the event.
  
• VAT at standard rate is included in the prices for Weddings quoted unless otherwise stated.
  
• Finalised menus (including any special dietary requirements) must be confirmed 4 weeks prior to the wedding date.
  
• In the event of increased taxation or other increased cost beyond the control of the venue, we reserve the right to vary prices without prior notice.
  
• Accommodation booking for your wedding guests is to be finalised and received 4 weeks before the wedding date. Payment for accommodation must be made at the time of booking by your guests. Any outstanding balance on any booking (including damage fees) will be charged to the bride and groom if it cannot be recovered from the guest.
  
• The client will be responsible for any damage to the house or its grounds by themselves, any third party contractor, or their guests, and shall be liable for the cost of such damage. They will also be liable for any costs directly incurred for soiling of any rooms (including bedroom).
  
• Access to Stouthall and its grounds the day before your wedding is by prior arrangement with your coordinator. Access before 6pm the day before your wedding is not available.
  
• Any decorations or accessories to be brought to the venue must be pre-agreed in writing.
  
• Wedding cakes and all fully arranged floral displays may only be delivered on the day of the wedding unless previously agreed with the wedding coordinator.
  
• Use of the catering kitchen and cold storage is not permitted for reasons of food hygiene and cross contamination.
  
• An in house PA is available at an extra cost, to be discussed with your coordinator, however you must make your own arrangements for entertainment.
  
• Prior consent of the venue must be sought for any entertainment or service contracted for the function by the client.
  
• We do not permit the use of outside caterers.
  
• No alcoholic drinks or food may be brought onto the premises without prior agreement and consent.
  
• The tipi closes at 11pm and all entertainment must cease by this time.
  
• The house bar closes at 1am
  
• We do not permit the use of fireworks or sky lanterns.
  
• The venue reserves the right to judge acceptable levels of noise and behaviour of the clients, guest or representatives, and the client must take all necessary action to correct. In the event of failure to comply with managements requests, the venue reserves the right to terminate the contract and stop the event without being liable for any refund or compensation. In such an event, guests will be removed from site.
  
• Please note that any items left from your wedding should be collected the day after unless prior arrangements have been made with a wedding coordinator. Any items not collected, we will assume are unwanted and will be disposed of. The booking party are liable for any cost incurred in doing so.
  
• The venue cannot accept liability for loss or damage to guest property, or the clients' property.
  
• The use of confetti is limited and only permitted by prior arrangement.
