Your exclusive day

At Stouthall, we believe your wedding should be as individual as you are. Our beautiful historic building, ancient woodlands and giant Tipi's are exclusively yours for your special day.

Making an entrance

Arrival at Stouthall can be as grand or as understated as you choose. From arrival outside our front entrance between our grand pillars in a vintage car, or being welcomed down our meandering grand staircase to your guest for the first time as newlyweds.

Getting married

You can choose to get married in one of the many quaint churches in the surrounding area to Stouthall, or in one of our very own fully licenced beautiful ceremony rooms. Getting married at Stouthall can be a mixture of tradition and rustic charm. Your ceremony can be held in one of our grand Georgian rooms, or you could choose to have a humanist celebrant to conduct a ceremony in the grounds of our spectacular venue. Like everything else in our wedding offerings, it is bespoke to each couple.

Ceremony spaces

The Banqueting hall The biggest of our ceremony rooms, with its high ceilings, grand fireplace, original mouldings and expansive original Sash! windows, it offers the perfect backdrop to your vows. Dripping in light, it offers a fresh space with stunning views onto the lawns and Tipi.
The Morgan Room This is the slightly smaller of our two grand rooms, with again the same original features and expansive windows and views. This room is slightly more intimate, with its rich deep teal carpet centralised by original wooden flooring, this room has the best of both light and traditional class.
The Lucas Library The most intimate of our ceremony spaces, this room also offers the stunning views out on to our grounds. This room is the epitome of tradition, and gives a real sense of grandeur. Surrounded by deep wooden furniture, walls of books, and the secrets of the smugglers who built it, this room offers the perfect place to start your very own story.

Welcome drinks

Following your arrival or ceremony, you and your guests can relax with a drink and bask in the relaxed beauty of our house and grounds. We can conduct your drinks reception wherever you would like, from the picnic area on the lawn, to our grand Morgan room, whilst allowing your guest mingle freely in in some wonderful spaces.

Photos

At Stouthall, we are blessed with such naturally beautiful surroundings that lend themselves so superbly to any wedding backdrop. The ancient woodland offers the perfect 'secret garden' feel to your pictures, making them as special and personal as the rest of your day. It's not just our grounds that boast such beauty, but also the impressive interior of the manor house. You have access to all of this beauty all day, with each area playing its part in transforming your day into perfectly captured memories to treasure for a lifetime.

Food

Your food is your choice. We work with each couple on their individually built menu's to make your meals exactly what you want. Our skilled chef and service team will deliver your choice in whichever way you would like, from a formal service to a laid back BBQ feel. Every menu is bespoke, every menu is beautifully presented, every menu is uniquely yours.

Evening

You and your guest will be blown away by the beauty of the Tipi's by night. As the sun goes down, and the golden glow from outside fades to be replaced by the magical twinkling canopy of light like indoor stars, your guests can dance the night away in a truly magical setting. The Tipi bar is open to serve all of your usual favourites and an extensive cocktail/mocktail menu, mixed to order. When dusk sets in, our grounds are awash with the rich warm light from our pathway lanterns and roaring fire pits. A perfect end to your perfect day.

Your first breakfast

We welcome you and your guests into our banqueting hall for a full breakfast the morning after your big day. It's a perfect and relaxed way to say thank you and goodbye to your guests before you leave to start the newest chapter of your story.
